About Me

A Rhode Island native, I moved to Texas in 2006 in pursuit of my MFA with a concentration in Photography from Texas Woman's University. Since then my work has been shown nationally, I continue to teach photography, and enjoy taking portraits for families.

Philosophy

The creative process begins with an idea followed by a push into the unknown, which eventually unfolds into a narrative of some sort, whether it be about my personal experiences or the story of humanity in general. I believe that successful artwork is a compilation of challenging oneself and the viewer intuitively and intellectually.

Expertise

My work demonstrates my love and knowledge of lighting, traditional photography, and digital manipulation.
